I received a post card the other day from Armstrong Cable. Usually I throw these right in the recycle bin without much of a glance. This time was different. They offered to double my internet speeds by swapping out my cable modem for free. Sweet!

After logging in to my account on their website and requesting the upgrade, I received it a few days later. As you can see from the test results, my download speed had definitely doubled from 16Mbps to 32Mbps but I was disappointed to see that the upload speed remained the same 3Mbps.
